Scotts Holdings rejuvenated the heritage listed Lau Pa Sat traditional markets by applying the James Rouse concept of festival
markets, similar to that of Harbourside Markets in Sydney.
The figurative sections were pre made in Australia and shipped to Singapore. The remaining design was created in situ by David
Humphries and the same Australian terrazzo team who produced the Harbourside terrazzo work in Sydney.
