Marble Mosaic- La Meridian Hotel New Caledonia 1993

Commissioned by Chhada Siembieda Design, Sydney
The mosaics were designed and made in panels in Public Art Squads' Sydney studios, then shipped to New Caledonia for
inclusion into the lobby floor of the New La Meridian Hotel.
The combination of broken marble backgrounds with marble tiled images of shells and seahorses had a rustic handmade quality in
keeping with the South Pacific theme of the Hotel.
