Public Art Squad studios make a wide range of decorative components for inclusion into their
terrazzo floors. Designs are often water -jet cut, in marble, onyx, terrazzo and glass, or cast in bronze and resin. Cut shells, mirrored backed glass, pre cast shapes, made with foam
templates, are incorporated into the terrazzo, and as such they become a loose form of mosaic, with its own distinctive style. Drawings, calligraphy and even hand writing are
sand blasted into the terrazzo surface then infilled with resin or terrazzo and ground back to reveal the fine detail.
