The Studios of Public Art Squad are the hub of the enterprise. They provide the space to create in, and a showcase gallery
for the works in progress. They are inevitably large open spaces with good natural light. Designed for maximum flexibility to accommodate a wide variety of productions. They are always fascinating places to
visit, often exhibitions and functions are held for client productions and public promotions.
Open floor space is required to layout designs and materials for floor installations; the walls are used for
displays of designs, ideas, or mural and painting productions.
Public Art Squad studios are well organized, containing a wide range of materials, equipment, and works in progress. The design stations are
fully equipped with computer technology.
The studio functions as the creative environment where a wide range of artists work under David Humphries direction.
In 1987 a 20,000 sq meter art production
studio was established in Ultimo where Public Art Squad coordinated the works of a formidable artistic team for Harbourside Festival Marketplace and Skygarden.
Nowadays, Public Art Squad is based in a massive
warehouse building in Rosebery. Custom designed to house David Humphries and his creative outpourings.
