The style and durability of the 1998 terrazzo was a major factor in the decision to extend the artfloor terrace in 2000.
David having established a sound working relationship with the Californian team who assisted him with the original
terrace found it possible to accept this commission during the same period of producing London's Fashion and Textile Museum terrazzo.
Again the union of the unconventional and idiosyncratic design philosophies of both Zandra and David was electric and
inspiring. The results of this whimsical collaboration are now permanently set into the expansive terrazzo terrace of the Del Mar Beach House.
The Del Mar Beach House with its terrazzo artfloors is an excellent example of how creative investments adds value to
property, giving financial and lifestyle returns.
